Love Conquers All

The month of May has felt to us like the entire world is waking up with a giant explosion of energy. It’s being called the “post-pandemic nuptials boom,” and Bee Two Sweet has definitely been in full swing, helping couples who postponed or scaled back their weddings during the 2020 global pandemic to plan and maximize efficiencies for wide-ranging logistics (transportation, location/venue changes, timeline), to guarantee a spectacular and memorable wedding day.

In the past few weeks alone, we have been honored to chronicle the many gorgeous, emotional moments, treasured rituals, and all the joy for seven of our couples, traveling from tony boutique hotel rooftops in DC, to spectacular vineyards in the heart of Virginia, to downtown Philadelphia and a Villanova historical estate, onto NYC’s Central Park and an intimate Upper East side wine bar, and back to DC for a private Constitution Garden/Lincoln Memorial elopement, while capping off our whirlwind May with a mini at an historic Georgian manor house in Old Town, Alexandria.

We are also excited to witness the organic shift in how our couples are choosing to celebrate their love for each other, with an even greater emphasis on connections with loved ones and taking nothing for granted. While more and more people are traveling, and many of our couples asking that guests be fully vaccinated, live-streaming to loved ones far away is likely to become a standard element of post-pandemic weddings.
